CULTURAL AWARENESS WORKSHOP

COURSE OVERVIEW
A two-day self awareness workshop that allows participants to explore cultural differences and how they impact communication, interpersonal relationships and effectiveness in the workplace. Emphasis is placed on creating and awareness of how differences impact perceptions and respect. Participants will explore appropriate and inappropriate behavior for the contemporary workplace and be introduced to the standards for workplace harassment through a survey of current case law.

GENDER AT WORK

OVERVIEW
A one-day workshop that allows participants to explore differences between men and women in communication and processing styles in order to examine the impact in the workplace. Introduces participants to the definition of sexual harassment and explores behaviors that can constitute sexual harassment at work. Provides an overview of an employees' responsibilities in eradicating sexual harassment as well as surveying current case law.

COURSE OVERVIEW
A one day workshop that allows participants to explore disrespectful and/or illegal conduct with the potential for constituting harassment on the basis of sex, race, age, religion, national origin, disability and sexual orientation. Provides an overview of an employees' responsibilities i the workplace as well as outlining procedures for addressing unwanted behaviors at work. Provides a highly interactive survey of current case law.

OVERVIEW
This workshop length varries from presenter to presenter, as a useful forum for providing particpants an opportunity to gain culture specific information and to interact with individuals from a variety of cultures. Guest presenters will speak on their personal experiences and the situations they have encountered based on their point of difference.
